Sarvis provides a 14-week certified culinary arts & customer service training program, wellness programming, and a job placement service for students including re-entry, immigrants and refugee populations.
Trained chefs will fill positions at local restaurants, catering facilities and other businesses in the community.
Culinary Arts Training: Each year, 45 students in 3 cohorts will receive training in café operations and culinary arts.
We offer best practice training, foster entrepreneurial skills, and train chefs to launch their own businesses.
14-WEEK CERTIFIED CULINARY ARTS & CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING
Prince George’s Community College is our training partner to provide a 14-week over 3 sessions certified culinary training program to students selected to participate.
Trainees receive certificates allowing them to become certified and increasing their chances to progress in the hospitality industry.
Residents of Greater Riverdale will receive priority for admission to training.
